Florist Staffing
To ensure every guest receives plenty of hands-on guidance throughout the workshop, our staffing requirements are based on your final group size:
- 1–10 guests1 florist
- 11–24 guests2 florists
- 25+ guestsReviewed & quoted
Staffing for 25+ guests is quoted based on group size and workshop format. For travelling workshops, the required number of florists is included when calculating your travel, setup and pack-down fee.
If your final guest numbers increase and this moves your booking into the next staffing level, the additional florist cost will be added to your final invoice.
Travelling Workshops
We would love to bring The Bloom Room experience to your venue!
Travelling workshops incur an additional travel, staffing, setup and pack-down fee. This is calculated individually based on the location of your event, return travel time, number of florists required, day of the week and workshop time.
Travel is calculated from The Bloom Room Events Hub to your venue and return, with additional time allowed for loading, setup, pack-down and unloading.
Additional costs associated with travel, including parking, ferry fares, tolls, accommodation, freight or other associated expenses, may also apply and will be advised upon review of your location.
An additional $250 surcharge applies to travelling workshops held outside our standard Monday to Friday operating hours. Saturday, Sunday and public holiday staffing rates apply and will be incorporated into your personalised quote.
The Fine Print
Terms & Conditions
Bookings & Payment
- A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total workshop cost is required to reserve your date.
- Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
- Final guest numbers and the remaining balance are required no later than 7 days prior to your workshop.
- Once final numbers have been confirmed, guest numbers cannot be reduced and refunds or credits cannot be provided for guests who are unable to attend.
- If guest numbers increase after your initial booking, additional workshop and staffing costs may apply.
Cancellations
- Workshop deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable, as flowers, vessels, materials and other workshop requirements are pre-ordered specifically for your event.
- For cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the workshop, the initial 50% booking deposit remains non-refundable.
Flowers & Materials
- All workshops are designed using The Bloom Room's seasonal florist selection.
- Flowers shown in inspiration imagery are indicative only and subject to seasonal and market availability.
- Requests for specific flower varieties, colours, premium blooms, vessels or customised materials may incur an additional charge and will be quoted accordingly.
- Orchids and other speciality flowers included in our premium workshops are subject to seasonal availability and may be substituted with another premium bloom where required.
Pricing
- All prices are GST inclusive.
- Prices listed are our standard workshop prices and may vary where custom florals, additional staffing, travel, premium materials or additional services are required.
